A lounge chair, model Egg Chair 3316, anniversary model ‘Det gyldne æg’ + ottoman 3127, Danish design by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. Designed in 1958. Produced by Fritz Hansen in 2008 in the limited edition of 999 copies on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the Egg Chairs, with engraved serial number 896/999 underneath the seat cushion. Swivel structure with covers in dark brown leather and suede, feet of solid, hand-polished bronze. Multiply marked, control cards included. W. 88/55cm, H. 103/41cm, D. approx. 83/39cm. Minor wear commensurate with age, the leather has patina and scratches, two rings on the seat of the ottoman.
