Swivel lounge chair  ‘ Jupiter ‘ by Pierre Guariche for Meurop (Belgium). Model created in 1964. This model is a Vintage edition of the period and not a current reissue. Seat and back in black textured skaï (imitation leather). Chromed steel cruciform base. Dim (Larg/Prof/ Ht): 85cm x 68 cm x 98 cm. (Seat height: 40 cm). In very nice condition Vintage! (No wear to report, just a very small hole to the back and thin slit to the slab skay). Typical of the Space Age Era era, it is very comfortable, it is a beautiful reinterpretation of the ancient shepherdess with ears (like the “Egg Chair” of Arne Jacobsen).
