I've included 2 photos of each side, one with the shear pulled open and one with a temp clamp. The fit it pretty good on both. Thanks for any thoughts. If it can be glued, I bought some PC-7 epoxy, but I'm not sure that's the best thing to use.

I have recently purchased a pair of Wassily chairs by Gavina. They are upholstered in a thick beige canvas which has seen better days, unfortunately. There is evidence of a previous owner making a poor attempt at repair of the straps which have come apart at the seams. Upon removing the damaged straps, I have noticed that there appears to be a cardboard insert between the canvas sheets on each of the straps I have looked at so far. I'm curious whether this was original to the chairs of this period or perhaps an addition made by one of the chairs owners. Let me know your thoughts, thank you all.

I have a Flos Taraxacum that was torn during a move. 

Is there a way to repair the fiber ?  Flos was not able to help, and I wonder if there is any way I can save it.

I need to repair my Stilnovo Gae Aulenti lamp. Mine is a bit different from the ones I find on the internet: I have to attach the set of lamos to a rail to the ceiling. I actually also have the set of speakers that are part of it.

Anyway. To properly repair the lamp I have to take of the knob you see circled in red in the photo. Is there anyone out there who can tell me how to do that? I don't want to force things... (I already took off the screw there but there is still no movement)

I need to replace the small cone that holds the 'ball' of the 'ball and socket' pivot connecting the arm to the base of the lamp.

I may also need to replace the transformer but not confirmed yet.

Recently acquired a Louis Poulsen PH5 which from its labels seems to be from the 1960s.  The cloth cord and porcelain socket seem to be original and doesn't have a ground - only the brown and blue wire.
has anyone rewired to add a ground to the existing fixture? Or would you suggest changing out the entire cord/socket.   I’m located in the US.

Other than a frayed portion of the cord, the wire seems to be good. is there a way to test with a multimeter if the socket and cord are still good without hard wiring it?

I'm hoping someone may have a recommendation for removing dried glue (or resin) from an Eames DCM chair.  The chair is black plywood.  Somebody tried unsuccessfully to replace the shock mounts and in the process smeared excess glue over the plywood.  We are reticent to use acetone in case it damages the plywood.
