Although, considering our current Problem and his cowardly cohort of wanna-be mass murderers, that could change at any minute.

Glad to know I'm not the only one of the old regulars still around! Power to the peeps!

I approached Strassle again for additional information.

My questions:

1) Could you tell me how many Laminata chairs were originally produced and during what period the model was in production?

2) I noticed that the Laminata is neither mentioned nor pictured in Strässle's overview of its classics, although other designs by Tuttle are included. Could you explain why the chair was omitted? Was it produced only for a short time, for example, or was there another reason?

The response:

Unfortunately, we have no information whatsoever regarding this model, nor do we know anyone who might have it.

In meantime I already knew, because of the book by (APA) Berns, M. C. (2003).
Paul Tuttle designs. University Art Museum, Santa Barbara (page 145-147)
Unfortunately, I still don't know how many copies of this model (named "Laminata") were ultimately produced/ sold.
So, are they truly rare... or not?

Sadly, Strassle themselves never responded to my message.

but  if found a image in or at https://sbmag.com/weliveinparadise/design-genius

the chair is some times attributed to Sonja Wasseur a dutch designer  this highly unlikely
