Hi,

Was wondering if anyone could help id this chair I purchased.

I thought it might be ercol but I haven't managed to find a matching ercol chair of this design.

Thanks

I am not that experienced, but for me it is also looking pretty much like an Ercol chair. At least they did a lot of new style windsor chairs. The curved seat seems also very English. Although, I also don

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I have looked at archived Ercol catalogues, whilst it does look very similar in design to Ercol chairs, particularly the 'chairmakers' model I cannot find a match.

I have looked at other chair manufacturers in England but couldn't find a match with the AP stamp.

The only 'AP' stamp that seems to match is the Danish maker AP Stolen.

I have two more ideas:

- one could check which marks were used by AP Stolen in the past and if your mark was used as well. Basically I think AP Stolen would use a mark with full company name
